Can't talk about food in the UK, without mention of some of the amazing dishes you can get in our capital. A few weeks ago I went to the restaurant "Salt Yard" with the family for some tapas. Tapas is a Spanish style of cuisine, consisting of small snack sized plates of food, designed for sharing in groups. Here we have one of the more famous tapas dishes, patatas bravas-literally "brave potatoes" in English. Patatas bravas is made up of fried potatoes, served with a side of spicy tomato sauce and aioli. Definitely one of my favourites.
The cocktails here are also amazing and definitely worth trying. I went for the classic cosmopolitan, a personal favourite, and it didn't disappoint. Lots of fruity flavour with a boozy kick. If you're ever in central London, you need to check this place out.
