Finally had the afternoon this Tuesday so took another trip to my beloved Sheffield. Decided to get some late lunch at one of Sheffield's popular spots-Smoke BBQ. Smoke BBQ is found in the pedestrianised zone, between the Peace Gardens and the Casino, so in a really nice part of town, which is full of restaurants. My boyfriend, who I went with, had the so called "Brisket Plate", which comes with two strips of beef brisket, burnt ends, brisket hash brown, twice cooked chips, plus your choice of side. Had a bit of a taste of the hash brown and it was amazing!
Personally, I went for the so called "Smoke Steak Chilli", which also comes with twice cooked chips. The chips were perfectly salty and the chilli was just the right level of spice-tickled your tongue but wasn't so spicy it tasted like pain. The portions are absolutely massive as well, so definitely worth the price.
Standard options for drinks are available here, however I'm totally in love with the jam jar style glasses they get served in. I'm such a hipster in that sense, but honestly, they're so cute! Just look at them! I think how cute the glasses are is reason enough to come here again!
