Indian Street Food
This weekend just gone I was fortunate enough to go to Liverpool to spend the weekend with my boyfriend. I'd never been to Liverpool before so was quite excited to explore a new city. Having been craving curry all day, I decided to have a search on Trip Advisor where I found "Mowgli Street Food", which had rave reviews. As a result, we decided to check it out. We had to wait a bit upon arrival, but how busy it was we saw as a popular sign-so many people wouldn't go somewhere if there wasn't something good about it! We were sat a lot quicker than expected, and were able to check out the menu. In the end, we went for the bunny chow, the office worker tiffin, the house lamb curry, and some roti. Bunny chow is a popular dish from the Indian community in South Africa, especially Durban, and consists of a hollowed out loaf of white bread, filled with curry. The bunny chow at Mowglis was filled with a chicken and potato curry, which was bursting with flavour. It was a lot of food, but we were both so hungry and it was so tasty, we ate it all! Honestly can't wait for my next visit here, as there are so many other amazing dishes on the menu which I'd love to try!
